Feminism is all about equality

I just read a response to #womenagainstfeminism.
This is something that can be read quite often. Feminism is all about equality, so if you are against feminism, then you don’t want equal rights.

I am all for equal rights. It seems however, that a lot of the western mainstream feminists are not. And that is my problem. And it is not just crazy people like Witchwind

A PISA study done by the OECD showed that girls were 15 points below the boys when it came to mathematics, but 40 points ahead when it came to reading skills. I just followed the German feminist media, but the 15 points in maths were cause to demand immediate action, the 40 points in reading were ignored.
I really dont mind people fighting only for women’s rights. What I do mind though is that feminist claim they are for equality. Feminism and Statistics.. just google some. The one in four claim, gender pay gap.. no matter what, feminists bend surveys and statistics until they fit their belief. Woman: Oppressed, man: Oppressor

Hillary Clinton said it quite nicely:

Women have always been the primary victims of war. Women lose their husbands, their fathers, their sons in combat. Women often have to flee from the only homes they have ever known. Women are often the refugees from conflict and sometimes, more frequently in today’s warfare, victims. Women are often left with the responsibility, alone, of raising the children

This is how a lot feminists see themselves. Even if men are slaughtered, maimed, it is just done to hurt women. The male hurt? The cripples? Tough luck, man up.
And no, I am not even talking about Solanas Scum manifesto, still a feminist bestseller.

Sexism against males? No, that is not possible. Feminism teaches me, that as a WHM I can’t be discriminated.

Imagine feminists reactions to something like the potential rapist campaign

Name one law that has been passed in the last 15 years, that lead to equal rights, not male discrimination.

Yes, I am all for equal rights. That is exactly why I oppose modern day feminism in the west.

6 Gedanken zu „Feminism is all about equality

  1. „Feminism is inherently good.“
In my opinion the most important sentence in this text. This shows that feminism is more of a religious than a political movement. This is also why self proclamation is totally sufficient. „I am a feminist“ is the counterpart to „I believe“ in the church.

  2. The reason, they can hold on to the slogan „feminism is for equality“ is because they constantly overestimate mens rights. They just don’t see, how men are normal human beings with all kinds of issues themselves. They seem to think: When you wake up as a man, everything is allright.
An dbecause that’s what they think, male life is about, they easily can entitle themselves to all kinds of rights in order to pursue equality.

Pseudoargumentation.
